The rumors are that Apple is going to control iPhone app distribution via iTunes and, more importantly, won't approve applications that are disruptive to either Apple or AT&T. I tend to think that this is a bad thing in principle but will be "good enough" for most users.
Yesterday, a group of twelve Newsviners collectively known as “The Drollhouse” perpetuated what they’re calling a prank on the site, where they all posted false, intentionally inflammatory articles under false user id’s.

Persai seems to deliver on the promise of distilling information overload down to just the parts that you want. Boutin also likes that it's an anti-social network. I do wish that the "reject" button on the Persai interface were an uncov inspired "FAIL" though.

With Newsvine content now appearing on MSNBC's community page, it's time to think about the big picture. One of the big stumbling blocks for any online community is the "digital wall" which often prevents intelligent, thoughtful contributors from seeing eye to eye.

With the somewhat recent influx of helpful articles for new-comers to Newsvine, I thought I should chip in my own wisdom to help the new and old alike by giving fail-proof signs that a user is a Newsvine Idiot.
